Triton Knoll project director James Cotter outlined the importance of integrating the local offshore supply chain, when he addressed delegates at the wind farm industry showcase Offshore Wind Connections 2016 (OWC2016), organised by Team Humber Marine Alliance, recently.
Mr Cotter, a key speaker at the Spa Bridlington event on May 12, explained how Triton Knoll aspires to be a catalyst for growth, working locally and regionally to help develop the supply chain and establish a lasting regional economic legacy. “We are keen to build this exciting project out of the Humber region and are already exploring all east coast port options to identify the best construction facility. We expect to work with the most competitive suppliers who can help us deliver the lowest cost of energy to the UK consumer, while providing value and opportunity for the east coast and UK supply chain,” said Mr Cotter.
